Songs Remembered

Hmmm, what were some of your favorite songs sung by the Victory Singers? Did any bit of music draw you closer in your relationship with Christ? When you hear "California Dreaming" by the Mama's and the Papa's does it cause you to substitute "We're the Victory Singers, and we sing a victory song"?
Well, here is a quick story about one of those songs: On Sunday we had "Stronghold", a southern gospel quartet, at our church and one of the first songs they sang was "Good-bye World, Good-bye". I knew every world, and it has been a few years since I even heard that song! I did picture John and His Five (His as in HIS, not Johns!)standing around the piano in the corner and hearing John's corny roller skating joke! A nice memory!
I loved "One Pair of Hands" that moved right into "Show me the Hands of Jesus". I think it was because of the emotion that Pastor D, our tenderhearted director showed on his face during that song. It always touched my heart.
Well, leave a comment! Let's hear/read what you remember. Blessings, Pam
